Cancellation policy

Your Statutory Right to Cancel

Under the14Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your Order within 7 working days of receiving your Goods.

If you wish to cancel your Order please email us at customer@proofcam.com as soon as possible, but at the latest within 14 working days of receiving your Goods.

If Goods have already been received you will be responsible for returning the Goods. You must return the Goods following the instructions detailed in the Returns Policy below.

If you cancel your Order in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation. In this case we will refund the price of the Goods to be returned in full (including the postage cost of sending the Goods to you).

30 Day Returns Policy

In addition to your statutory right to cancel your Order within 14 working days, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase from the Website, you can return it to us in its original condition, in original packaging with its proof of purchase within 30 days of the date you received the Good(s). A refund will be issued in accordance with our Returns Policy below.

Returns policy

To obtain a refund either under your statutory right to cancel or under our 30 day returns policy please obtain a Returns Authorisation Number and complete a Returns Form to be included in the return parcel.

You can obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) by Emailing the customer service department at customer@proofcam.com

When emailing us please forward your email Order confirmation or ensure you refer to the Order number in the email indicating which products you intend to return.

Once your return is authorised an acknowledgement via a Returns Authorisation Form will be emailed to you at the address used on your original Order which will include the details of the returns address(es).

When preparing your parcel for return please note the following:

Clearly mark the Returns Authorisation Number on the outside of the return package.

Remember to include the Returns Authorisation Form.

Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us using the returns address provided within 7 days of receiving a Returns Authorisation Number. Upon receipt, all products will be inspected and at our discretion, a refund may be refused.

Proofcam will accept no responsibility for loss or damage of Goods which are being returned, during transit. For your protection we recommend you use a recorded delivery service for more valuable items and/or ensure you insure the relevant item. If you fail to take reasonable care of the Goods before they are returned, and this results in damage or deterioration, Proofcam reserve the right to charge you for the reduction in value.

Any products returned without a valid Returns Authorisation Number and Returns Authorisation Form will be refused and no refund applied.

You are responsible for all postage costs for products returned under our Returns Policy unless:

  • we delivered the item to you in error;
  • the item is damaged or defective;
  • you are rejecting substitute Goods we have sent to you;
  • or this has been specifically agreed and confirmed in advance with Customer Services.

We will examine the returned Goods and will either notify you in writing or via e-mail within a reasonable time of the refund to which you are entitled (if any at all). We will usually process any refund due to you as soon as possible thereafter (and in any event within 30 days of the day you provided notice of your cancellation). For any entitlement of a refund to be due to you, the returned Goods must be in the same condition in which you received them with the original packaging and the product documentation. The Goods must not have been used (such as any smell of without limitation fuel, toxins or rubber shall invalidate any refund due to you) and, where applicable, must not have been removed from the sealed clear packaging. This includes electrical items, which are supplied in sealed clear packaging. Goods returned to us because they fail to comply with the Warranty will be refunded in accordance with the provisions of the Warranty Conditions.

We will normally refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

Items Damaged in Transit

If you receive an item and it has been damaged in the post please report this to us within 7 working days of delivery.

Send us an email at customer@proofcam.com including:

  1. Your details
  2. Your Order number
  3. A photo of the damage to the item and packaging

We will arrange for Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and Returns Authorisation Form to be sent to you and will send a freepost label if we need you to send the old item back to us. We will arrange, if appropriate, for replacement items to be sent to you.
